How to Convert .PSD to .JPG

Recommended workflow

Select PSD File. Choose layered .psd project file.
Choose Output Resolution. Select 100% original dimensions or scale down for web sharing.
Export JPG Image. Flatten all adjustment layers and download flat JPEG image.
Check the PSD before flattening. Confirm the visible layers, canvas size, color profile, and whether hidden layers need to be included.
Choose a background. Transparent PSD areas require a background color because JPG has no alpha channel.
Export and inspect. Review text, sharp edges, color, and compression artifacts at the intended display size.

Common export issues

Transparent background areas convert to solid white in JPEG.
JPG cannot preserve layers, transparency, vector editability, or Photoshop adjustment controls.
CMYK and wide-gamut profiles may look different after conversion to RGB.
Very large PSD files may need to be flattened before rendering.
